Did another casual look the other day for a pre-valentine date with the boyfriend. We figured since the 14th would be filled with traffic and a lot of people everywhere we decided to stir away from that and just stay at home together. :)

So for movie night and a quiet dinner with the mister I decided to wear my DIY shorts to our date. Yes I sew all the sequins on within 1 week! Talk about commitment. haha It's amazing how adding a little detail can change a simple garment and make it look different and ten times prettier!

I also wore this cute pair of earrings I got at Accessorize. Since my look was really simple I opted for some heavy detail just to offset the ordinary.

What do you guys think?

An easy outfit since I had to return all the clothes I pulled out from my recent shoot. It's hard when I do my fashion related jobs since a lot of brands are involved. I get to see all their best products all the time which always ends up with me buying something off their racks right after I've finalized all the looks for a shoot. Unlike Interior, when you see a pretty tile you don't go "Oh! I'll get that and re-do my whole kitchen when I get home.". Well, not unless you have the man power and the money to do so. lol! It's a blessing and a curse! haha

Minimal but statement accessories to add some color and texture to my very bright shirt dress...

And another pair of my no fail booties for a day of errands.

Chilling like a traveler!

Unlike the usual sunny Cebu, yesterday was a bit chilly. I almost couldn't let go of my blanket and with the lazy weather in mind I cooked up an outfit that kept me warm, comfy and at the same time covered. mmmmmmmm Felt like a wandering hobo in this look. Seems like I'm missing a sling bag made out of cloth maybe? Yes? :)

Since I had early meetings that day I still kept it polished and fashionable with this pointy necklace and my forever loved beaded bracelets and a few of my bazaar rings to add some touch of color to my dark ensemble.

I decided to wear something comfortable yesterday since I had a styling job to do. Bondage skirt plus a loose shirt with some boots. Lately, these black booties have been my safety pair. I love how I can just run around the place and even if they do catch some dirt they still give off an effortless cool vibe to my look. You know that "I don't care but I do kinda look". You get it the idea.. ;)

And also while we were taking the shots I couldn't help but keep touching this wall while I was in Amnezia Club, the location for the shoot. This was hand painted within three days! How do I know that? Cause I designed it myself! The location for the shoot was coincidentally my recent Interior Design project that I did last December. (Yeyy!) They wanted to do some kind of street style look for this wall so I came up with the design and contacted a few college friends to do the actual painting. What do you guys think? :)

Besides the mural wall I was also asked to design the entrance of Amnezia which I ended using a bit of deconstructivism to the design. Since this is a big club, with Karaoke and all, I specifically played around with lines and lights with this space. So to be able to get the full effect of the design you guys would have to wait till the next time I can take night shots of the place or if you're from Cebu you can visit and check out the lighting effects we did on this one ! :)

Yesterday was my dad's birthday and since we can't wear red yet I've decided to keep it bright with this super cute yellow polka top.

Cinched my top at the waist to give it a peplum effect , a trend that I've been loving right now.

Adding on some pinks with this statement necklace from Island Girl together with mom's vintage rings and dad's vintage watch.

We did an early surprise greeting for my dad yesterday. Birthday cupcakes at 7am!

Here's a styling stint I did for WAGW's lookbook. When they told me that the title of the collection I was styling for was "Clip Art" I immediately thought of crowns for my shoot and cutout colors for the background. Although this shoot was planned months back we had a few setbacks for this one regarding dates but we finally pushed through and found the perfect time where everyone was free. I had a blast during our shoot. Our funny and very pretty models Shelly and Krista were all game and had the most hilarious scenes. As for the backgrounds Lea and I felt like we were on a coloring book picking out which hue worked best. :) Right now I'm actually listing down all of my favorite items for my orders! haha Hope you guys can drop by and pickout some of WAGW's Art Clip collection. :)

Decided to try out grunge yesterday. Okay.. Well, sort of.

With the pink shoes and the colorful bag I think you guys get the hint on how I can't totally look grunge. But in fairness to me mid day I had to change into my black boots which was more of the peg since I had to walk around to do a few meetings in between.

Been recently buying different silver accessories. I have no clue why!

Because the sun was brutal that day I hid behind my batman like sunnies for protection. Felt like I was ready to do some flying stints yesterday with my lightweight top that reminded me so much of a cape. haha

On a very sunny Sunday I decided to go prim and proper with my look. Styled it with a laced top and an abstract geometric skirt. There' something truly classic about a high waisted pleated skirt and some lace. It screams 50s savy if you ask me, which is also one of my fave eras, taking away the World War II & the Cold War of course! I guess amongst the fashion eras this was the time when outfit choices truly embraced a woman's curves. Framed on the waist, fitting tops, and flattering skirts. Just an opinion..:)

Looking at how Geometric lines takes its form both in Fashion and in Interior Design. I amazes me how geometric themes either on furniture or main structures give it an instant modern vibe. I guess that's why lace and geometric patterns go well in my eyes because to me they provide the same concept. They create drama in plain pieces (like the crisp white wall in the interior and my white top) while keeping a quiet elegance to it... Don't you think? :)

I am very much in a good mood today. My Dad styled me which was a total plus, including accessories ha! I let him pick between 2 outfit choices it was either a pink loose dress or this green and blue number and he insisted I wear this yellow ribbon belt and nude heels and pile on all my accessories. Not kidding guys! Ended our styling session with "what will you do without me" --a line he tells me constantly. haha

Everyone would be glad to know that I've been busy with my online store Detail bydetails'. Once again I am on the look out for models , photographers and even a one hit wonder concept! Wore this to a day filled with picking items for the store. It's terribly annoying that I wanted to keep each one to myself even though I promised that I wouldn't I had to get some duplicates of my fave items. So if it says "1 item only" on the day of the upload most probably I have the same design. haha Caught me red handed!

A little bit more on my look, I decided to go for something easy since I knew I was gonna be moving a lot. I wore this simple shirt and shorts combo and of course adding some formality with a blazer. Of course the blazer was for show. Halfway through finalizing on designs I had to take it off! haha

On a day spent with family I opted for something fun with splashes of color. If you've been in my blog long enough you'd know that this yellow tube romper I've already worn a couple of times but It's always fun to experiment and style old pieces with new ones to make a totally different look. :)

Since trenches are no way applicable with my outfit that day I decided to wear this sheer Detail bydetails polo to create the same effect. Tied a really cute bow on my waist and tada "trench goodness"!

Besides trenches I've been loving sorbet colors lately so I've been bringing a long this pink bag for days now. Reminds me so much of strawberry ice cream!

And with bags comes accessories. My best friend gave me this really cute necklace for Christmas and I must say it's an instant head turner. So with this gold fringed necklace comes minimal accessories. A few rings on my hand just to mix it up.

As an Interior Designer I'm always on the prowl for nifty home deco things. I do not know why but I visit home deco stores more than I do clothing boutiques. So while I was in BTC-Cebu over the weekend this place called "Nice Things" instantly caught my eye

Was always drawn to China ware as accents since I really think they give off such a homey vibe to any kind of space.

Speaking of space I love how they created booths within their tiny restaurant area in the store to give off a diner effect. Diner booths are always associated with the 60's era but it was very refreshing to see these branch-like cut outs being used as the divider for the booths. Very chic if you ask me!

More cutout details I found while grabbing some frozen iced tea! I feel so inspired by these already.

I really wanted to wear pants that day since my friends told me to don a casual look but I was upset when I found out the night before that all my denim pants won't fit me! :( How horrible is that? I guess I did gain weight when I was in Manila last year! haha I guess the only thing left to do is to embrace my new size. :)

A little story behind this skirt. I actually wore this to a shoot during my 3rd year in college on a photo set for "future Interior Designers" in school. Now that I am actually a fully fledged licensed Interior Designer I don't think I'll be able to let go of this skirt at all. :)

Visited my Alma Mater last week to attend a talk for PIID- Cebu Chapter. Halfway through our talk I couldn't help but bring one of my really good friends along, Caren, to walk around USC-CAFA. So we ditched a couple of minutes and decided to venture the empty halls of CAFA on a Saturday afternoon. I swear each corner had a corresponding memory! If you're reading this thank you Caren for taking these photos of me! <3

This used to be where all of us would draw our different plans and plates. Even if there was no seating plan

all of us had our respective seats and if you dared to get someone else's seat your in a for long fight! LOL!

I could never forget this area all of us used to take most of our breaks together so this was the hallway where everyone had to pass..

Over to some new things. A huge mural was just recently added to the school's lobby which I actually like since we're all under the Fine Arts and Architecture department I really think the building needed this splash of color after all these years. As if our crazy CAFA fashion sense wasn't enough. haha

I don't really know what these were but it reminded me so much of a cage. What caught my eye were the two geometric shapes that were repeatedly used throughout the structure which were triangles and hexagons. Can anyone enlighten me on what this was for or what the structure is? haha I love it!

It is the uncovering of Cebu’s rusty side.

I was happy to get an invite to Blanc Magazine's Launching last Thursday.

Since most of the team are my very good friends I couldn't resist to see what they were cooking for everyone!

The host for the evening was the very pretty Marie Dinolan wearing Mike Yapching that night!

Of course the place was packed. Everyone was eagerly awaiting for the highlight of the evening which was the Fashion show and Unveiling of Blanc's first cover!

Wore this to Blanc Magazine's launching the other night. Heard the attire was to be sartorial savy so the first thing that popped into my mind were these printed leggings I've been keeping in my closet all these years. Paired it with my DIY sheer maxi skirt and finished my look with a ribbed cut out top which screamed edgy elegance.

I loved how that the front view of my look appeared classy and proper while the back and side details gave some edge to it!

I don't know what I was thinking but it seemed like a good idea to wear a sheer maxi over my printed floral leggings. What do you guys think?

I wore this to the Maze event I blogged about yesterday. Decided to wear minimal accessories since I figured all this color needs a clean canvas just to balance things out. Maze Teen Model Search

I got an invite from Eden to attend Maze's Teen Image Model Search.

Luckily the time frame was perfect so I just had to insert this to my schedule that day!

Started off with a quick introduction with the models introducing themselves with their

statement shirts!

Kudos to the hosts Eden and Mark for making the night more fun.

Hosting skills approved!

Not only that but people were screaming the whole time. Supporters for each contestant

were shouting out names on their best bet and with balloons to match. That's what I call support!

My favorite part was when the girls went out with their Shandar shoes and colorful printed outfits

that were styled by my good friend Yves. I am feeling the Sinulog spirit already!

Followed with beautiful evening gowns and suits from young Cebu based designers.

Congratulations to the winners and the whole Maze Team!

Today is officially the start of 2012! With that, let me leave the usual Fashion talk and Interior Design ramblings just for this post and share with you guys instead 15 reflections/resolutions I cooked up yesterday from me to me.

(This list is actually longer in real life but 15's the most I can share haha)

1.) I will not try to please everyone. I will simply do what I know is right.

2.) The more productive I am the luckier I will become.

3.) I will focus more on less and I will get rid of stuff I do not use.

4.) I will not try to read other people's minds. I will not make other people try to read mine. I will communicate effectively.

5.) I will never make decisions in a state of emotional haste.

6.) Everyone doesn't have to like me and I don't have to like everyone.

7.) My habits define my life.

8.) The biggest mistake I can make is doing nothing because I'm scared to make a mistake.

9.) What other people think of me isn't that important.

10.) If I want to believe in myself more I will start doubting other less. Because where I most easily doubt others is where I most easily doubt myself.

11.) I will let go of things I can't change and concentrate on things I can.

12.) There are thousands of little things that just aren't worth fighting for -- I will neglect and let them go. I will choose my battles wisely.

13.) If I want to remember it. I will write it down in a trusted location

(not just meetings and schedules but also ideas!)

14.) I will not waste my time on jealousy. I'm in competition with one person and one person only--myself. I'm competing to be the best I can be.

15.) No matter how it turns out,it always ends up just the way it should be. Either I succeed or I learn something. Win-Win.

So what do you guys think? Do I look okay with my black boots on? haha I know it's not under my usual style but the new year comes with new things. I decided to keep everything casual for today but of course punching in some colorful stripes to brighten up my look!

We visited the Basilica of Sto. Nino today just to be thankful for all the blessing we received during the year 2011. And if you guys are wondering.. yes I wore this while walking around downtown to the Church and no I did not get mugged. The trick is to wear less accessories and just be properly covered. I think I did both very well if you ask me! Either that or I had my dad walk beside me the whole time. haha

If you ask me fountains are always a nice touch to any garden space.

I decided to wear something warm for today since I've been noticing the cool breeze Cebu has been getting lately. Playing up with animal prints on a busy day! I love how these prints have become a no-brainer choice to look fashionable! Paired it with my nude pleated skort and topped off with my Island Girl necklace for an extra oomph! I usually like to dress simple and easy. Minimal accessories and a top and bottom combo that's how I roll--most of the time!

But besides being simple in outfit choices I also use the same criteria on picking other items and yes that includes notebooks! I bought myself a Moleskine organizer today--a tradition I do every year. I've always had a touch of O.C. in me and ever since I was young I've been very much the planner. When I got this today you guys couldn't imagine how happy I was! Instead of getting the usual black I decided to get the dark blue one. It may sound nerdy but I cannot wait to fill it up with new schedules and tasks for next year.

Excited for 2012! :)

Wore this to a relaxed Christmas lunch with my family! I figured a statement skirt would be enough with these comfy sandals that I got from Island Girl! I've been loving all the rope details they've been doing lately and this blue one caught my eye. The best way to test footwear is to walk around SM malls. Not kidding you guys, since their floor finishes are fully glossed that means there's not much texture on their surfaces resulting to less grip. So I wore these babies the whole afternoon yesterday while doing some Christmas shopping and it was super comfortable! Not only that I didn't get any wounds or blisters after wearing them. Hooray for comfy and fashionable shoes! Every girl needs to give those heels a rest sometimes! :)

A printed dress from my online store Detail bydetails and this really light weight blazer I got from WAGW! I've been buying a lot of cover ups lately. With all these gatherings involving food during the Christmas season I seriously need something to cover all these extra jiggle! teehee Flats to keep me comfy! Sorry for the repetitive blow of glittery flats guys. Seems like I only have a handful of ballet flats compared to my heels--oh my! Will try to do some Holiday shopping once I've got time then. Taking my Island Girl necklace out for a spin! I figured a really cool necklace like this deserves all the attention so I had my hair up today. It might look really heavy but it's actually very light since it's made out of rope! Tiny2x knots designed to create texture. Wore my bright abstract print cardigan over my leopard print top just because i felt extra cheerful today. Fortunately the colors worked out well anyway.

Wore this to a bunch of meetings today. Both involving Interior Design and Fashion matters. I always thought I had to choose between the two and then it hit me! I can actually do both at the same time. It's clear that both fields seem to catch so much of my time and effort that I've decided to juggle both of them head on! After all, they're all in the art sector anyway.. not too far from each other either. I do hope I get to do well on both since I'm very interested and excited to know how this will all work out!

Island Girl invited me to visit their Cebu showroom today.

Let me just say when I entered I died and went to jewelry heaven! Since their showroom is within their home I felt like I found buried treasure! It's like a secret place where I get my accessory cravings fixed!

Not only were the designs modern but what I like about their pieces was each one was made out of indigenous materials. Wood, ropes, shells, coconut shells, wires and all that jazz! I think it's very smart design wise since they used ordinary and raw materials and created it into something beautfiul. I appreciate designs like these since I believe in this art form called... craftsmanship. Plus the prices don't hurt your pockets too! Which is a total plus for me! Wore this yesterday to a get together with my best girlfriends! I was glad that I got to catch up on everyone's lives. I've realized that a lot has changed over the years but our little antics are still the same. Even though everyone went their separate paths I am glad that I still have the best people around to cheer me up. I hope that when we are all old & wrinkly we'll still have these Christmas dinners to look forward to every year! :)

Was invited to Zee's 15th Anniversary after party and when I got the note that the dress code was formal I instantly panicked. In such short notice I didn't have anytime to get a dress made by anyone. Fortunately Rei Escario, younger brother of Jun Escario, came to my rescue and lent me this gorgeous dress. Could you believe that this was one of his first designs when he started out in the business? Totally matched the "crystal" theme I automatically assumed based on the invite. I loved the classic design with a hint of detail and low back. Fitted me like a glove actually, meant to be! <3 Thanks to one of my bestfriends, Jaye, for lending me her lovely glittery shoes. Us size 5 girls have to stick together!

The runway was decked with draped fabrics and glass vases in different shapes and heights. Reflected perfectly the kind of runway that was about to come. Simple, Chic and Elegant. I'd have to say this went perfectly well since the focus went directly on the designer pieces.

SM accessories started the show in collaboration with other designers. Kryz closing the show with her very sexy glittery dress!

Here were some of the photos that I was able to save that night during the fashion show. Bare with me guys I've been trying to learn the tips and tricks with my camera. I've barely mastered taking pictures outdoors the indoor ones look like crap thus the black and white result. Teehee Although the show started late believe me when I say my photos didn't do justice to the great details during the runway that night. Each designer was different but equally talented! Truly worth the wait. :)

Another comfy outfit to do errands with. I just realized that I've been buying different kinds of wedges these past few months! I can't help it, they're just way comfier than stilettos. Christmas season is finally here and I've been busy buying Christmas gifts for everyone! Not only that but I'm advising a few people as well for their thesis projects over at my Alma Mater. It's overwhelming that my previous professor allowed me to become their adviser even if I'm just fresh from the board exam and don't have much experience doing site work. I decided to dress comfy that day so that I can easily move and walk around. So wedges and a flouncy pleated skirt for instant comfort. I really don't know why but pants seem too much of a hassle for me to wear. I think it's my claustrophobia talking but skirts always do the trick! A cool ethnic inspired necklace to top off my look.

Decided to wear this yesterday to show off a mix of aztec and floral prints to my Hawaiian party that evening. I didn't really wanna go too obvious with big florals so I decided to mix in ethnicity to my outfit. I am loving the offbeat vibe of the prints and at the same time how it surprisingly works. Didn't wanna go in full costume too so I opted for a hint of inspiration instead. What do you guys think?

Above are the details to my look that day. I've been saving this braided rope top for a while now and I finally got to use it! I do think that the rope detail, even if it is simple, gives off so much character to the look. A punch of solid accents like my red bracelet and salmon bag to keep the look together.

Similar to the outfit. Aztec and floral prints are a great way to design your living spaces this season. If you don't wanna go too obvious with the Santa and reindeer items you can always fall under the safety net of color to keep things festive! Go with one solid print on one surface like the floral upholstered stool. Or you can even play around with loud prints in the same or complementing color palettes on different tiny accents to add interest to your area. Don't forget to pick a dominant neutral color as your base when mixing prints just to even things out! :)

Greetings from Bloggers United II Hangover Land!

When I first arrived that day I wore my ever so comfy jumpsuit. While everyone was busy unpacking I was busy looking around at my booth since we decided to combine our spaces together and make it into a big one cause of that I had 5 other closets to raid! What instantly caught my eye was this tiered crocheted piece from Vanessa! Automatically grabbed it of course and wore it on the same day. Instantly changed my whole look!

So this was our booth when we first started. As you can see I neatly folded all my clothes depending on the different prices...

Towards the end though.. I just really got tired of arranging everything.. so I left it in one big pile (ukay style) and just did a 3 for 100 price by the end of the day!

Wore this Detail bydetails dress today! I loved the pattern and the cut that I just had to have one for my closet! I wanted the dress to be the main focus so no belts today. Of course there are two more of these in the store so grab them now while you still can! :) You can pair them with vintage jackets or even knitted cardigans for a more dressier peg!

So I spent today with my sisters and treated them out to a movie and some girl time! Our parents were to lazy to go out so I guess it was just three of us for the day. Let me just say that whenever we're together even if we annoy the heck out of each other we always end up having a good time! :)

Even if it was a Sunday I still had a busy day.. Even had to insert two more meetings on my supposedly rest day but I guess that's alright since this whole freelance styling thing doesn't seem like work sometimes. :)

Of course before I had to leave I had to drop by WAGW Ayala to support the bestfriend together with Camille and Laureen. Not only that but Germaine (sister to the right) wanted to meet them in person too! You guys should've seen it, WAGW was packed! Also I was surprised that they told me I got Sylvanas the other day from similar Dumaguete readers! I am soo happy. Thank you guys. I was super touched. Even if I wasn't included with the blogger meetup you still included me---Yeyyy!

Hello guys wore this to a WAGW filled day in Manila. Since I was staying at the bestfriend's house I decided to tag a long and tried to help with WAGW's blogger meet and greet. Decided to wear these cute gold shorts from ukay! I love finds like these, they add so much character to an outfit. A lot of people know I'm not the social butterfly I'm supposed to be so I guess that's why I decided to wear a loud outfit that day to compensate with my poor poor social skills. haha

Hello guys! I am back in Cebu from Bloggers United 2! Let me just say that it was such a huge success. Hats off to Aisa, Anagon, Melai and the rest of the team who organized this event and flew us, Cebu Bloggers, to Manila. It was a such a great experience to meet my Manila readers. Thanks to everyone who came to our booth and also to my readers who congratulated me for passing the board, that was super sweet of you guys. On to my outfit. I wanted to wear something loose on that day so that I can move around. I decided to wear this Jumpsuit that I super duper love! Also bought (on the spot) a colorful poncho piece form fellow blogger Vanessa East that day to spruce up my look. Too bad I didn't take an outfit shot of it! :( Wore it over my comfy pajama like jumpsuit... comfort with fashion-- that's the way to go! Speaking of comfort.. I chose wedges that day so that I'd have more balance. Le't face it.. walking in those shoes the whole time wasn't a great idea. Thanks to Patricia and Kryz for bringing me to Footzone that night. Hello Manila!

Wore this today to my trip to Manila with Kryzzzie. The whole time we were on the plane I felt like we were the only ones bursting with laughter together with the 2 kids behind us. Decided to wear something comfortable and something I could move in since I would be stuck inside a tiny aircraft and my claustrophobia might act up. Socks to keep my tiny toes warm since they're usually the first ones to die on me while traveling. Super excited for Blogger's United 2 tomorrow. Can't wait to meet everyone! Poppy Girls!

My best friend Kryz was asked by stylebible.ph to do a styling challenge for international label, Coach, with their new fragrance called Poppy! So the task was to create a look that was inspired by the fragrance! First thing that came into mind was something fun that's why we've got a tiny set with us! haha

Here are our Individual looks! Kryz was right on saying that the scent was so us. Quirky and sweet with a touch of spice.. it embodies our whole tandem. Styling , concept and our poses came naturally for us since we wanted what kind of look we would like to show off!

Thanks to Kryz for picking me to do this shoot with her it's always fun shooting with your best friend. I think this is still our 3rd shoot together if I'm not mistaken.. could you believe it? haha

Relaxing day yesterday!Excuse my tiny eyes I haven't got that much sleep. hehehe I finally wrapped up all my shoots for the week and I feel so happy! It feels so good to just spend time with family not worrying about anything and just sleep the whole day. I got my much needed R&R and now I am ready for work. I'm just glad I got to accomplish everything in such a short span of time. Leaving the fashion related news aside I am now facing floor plans again. Yes you heard that right! I sorta miss all the fuzz and the uptight schedules I used to encounter back in College. Hopefully I get this project right so that I can show you guys the results! :) Now off to do some double time on plans!

Hello once again! Sorry for the lack of posts I know I owe you guys big time. I've just been very busy juggling both Fashion and Interior Design projects lately. I can't share anything with you guys yet since everything is strictly confidential. It's funny how the other week I couldn't stop yapping about how I had nothing to do and just when I landed in Cebu all the projects piled on. Been very thankful will everything that's happening! :) I do hope I get to finish everything and at the same time do a good job. I've been worried sick about the results. :(

Hello everyone! A quick post today..It's been vomiting shoots for me! I can't wait to tell you guys what I'm cooking up for everyone. (Cooking and Vomiting --that doesn't sound right) Oh well! Pretty excited on what's about to happen. Since today was super busy I decided to keep it easy and less hassle. Of course , I didn't wear heels the whole day but I just had to take an outfit shot of me wearing my new favorite pair from Macy's! <3

Off to pack for my Manila trip on Thursday since I'm pretty much sure I won't even have a moment for myself tomorrow!

I hate packing :(

Hello Guys! Spent the day yesterday visiting Janina Dizon's trunkshow! The moment I went in I felt like I was in accessory heaven. The pieces were so modern and fun . I loved the interesting pair of colors and textures! I think that accessories always finish a look no matter how minimal they may be. And one should never underestimate the power of these pretty things! Here were some of my faves from yesterday!

Spent my day yesterday bonding with some of my best girlfriends and decided to wear something simple and that could also cover up all the unnecessary new found jiggle in my body. What do you guys think? Did I cover up well? I should seriously start doing my yoga classes again! I need to turn this fat into muscle. :(

Lately I've been busy buying a lot of flats, seems to me that this just a great item to finish off my very simple way of my outfit choices these days. So far I bought this leopard pair from So Fab! and just recently the sparkly ones from my fave SM brand, Parisian. My next goal is to buy the plane ones thinking that this would really be "useful". I guess they are in some way better than heels especially on days when I just want my feet to rest. I used to collect ballet flats back when I was in high school. It just seems to be the easier choice and recently I've rediscovered this love once again!

Hello Guys! A little update on what's about to come. I know I promised to show you guys a fashion editorial featuring a Detail bydetails collaboration with different designers and other creative people but I would have to keep that on pause for a while since there were some difficulties regarding the uploads. Hope you guys can still wait! teehee

On to some flying terms. I've been a busy bee packing some of my old closet faves! Yes, you got that right , they are flying a few of us Cebu Bloggers to an interactive shopping affair this December! Super excited for that. Will be selling some fave closet items soon. So keep posted! :) Besides packing I just came home from a scheduled filled day. Fitted my awesome Mike Yapching dress for my oath taking in Manila on the 17th! Super excited for that too! Can't wait to show you guys Mike's design! The rest of the day involved some errands with my sister thus deciding upon this outfit choice and some flats. I've been drawn to a lot of sparkly things lately. Including my nails.. Check em out! :)

Hi guys! Remember my past post with the shoot I did with Rachel Alcantara? If you don't.. click here. Anyway.. here are the other photos I promised. I only prepared two outfits that day which kinda sucked since I wanted to shoot more.. but time did not permit us. :( *Sayang!* Besides all the awesome places let me give you a low down on some of the behind the scenes photo my Dad took that day.

Yep, you heard it right! My Dad came along to our shoot! If you've been following my blog for some time now you guys wouldn't be too surprised about this. To the new comers, my Dad's an advertising major. He lives for these kinda stuff so whenever he's free he always begs me if he could tag along. :)

Here are my Dad's shots.. He was playing photog with our digicam while Rachel got her bazooka (as he likes to call it) camera ! haha

Flew to Manila last week to visit my Angkong's (Chinese for Grandfather) grave for All Souls Day. Since I was there 2 days early I decided to do a fun shoot with Rachel Alcantara. I received a message from Rachel a few days back that she wanted to do a fun shoot with me in UP Diliman, couldn't say no to that. I really wanted to visit the University I hear it had the best views and indeed it did. I felt like every corner was a good spot for a photo! Also, it's always nice meeting new photogs like Rachel. I felt so relaxed while doing the shoot.. besides climbing up trees and sitting on grass I had a fun time with Rachel. She was also a Cebuana which made things a lot easier in terms of communication. haha Anyway more photos soon! :)

Hello Guys! In every batch of Detail bydetails I style and do collaborations with other creative people to create a short Fashion Editorial to all my customers and readers. Here's a teaser and some BTS photos for you guys on what's to come this weekend!

Of course I couldn't have done this without collaborating with Charlene of Gold Dot Cebu (Look at all the shoes she let me pull out! *drool*) Also thank you to Meme Dakay's gorgeous line of jewelry and Nike San Pedro's cool skull rings! If you guys were following my tweets a few weeks back you'd know how busy I was with this shoot. Very thankful to the people involved and who trusted me on pulling out and borrowing their items.

Also, working with Hannah Bacalla again! Always a fun time. She's a photog/hairstylist now! (I kid! haha). And with the very gorgeous Shelly as our model, I couldn't thank my team enough. It was fun working with these girls. Hope I did justice to styling the items and crossing my fingers that I did a good job on showcasing everyone's piece! My sister, Giselle, has been planning to cut her hair for a while now and out on some random day she finally did! I've been teasing her that I'd make her my model for the Detail bydetails a long time ago and when she did cut her hair I finally decided to push through with our long time plan! Surprisingly she was very easy to work with and of course I couldn't have done it without my awesome photog Lea!

Looking through some collections I found out that the Detail bydetails piece has almost the same details and aura found on the runways! So here are some fashion references for you guys! :)

I especially love this look because of it's clear simplicity and numerous details. High slit, sheer, tied waste, long sleeved and collared! It's one of my favorites. I feel like it's the perfect canvas for any fashionista, that's just my opinion of course. :)

Had a really quick shoot today with Lea. It's crazy how she can wrap a shoot in less than 30 minutes. She initially planned to shoot me with this gorgeous gown she brought a long today but sadly I've added a bit of weight into my system so the dress didn't fit me at all and I had to whip up an outfit that resembled something similar to the dress she brought. Oh well, I guess this outfit had to do.hehe Anyway, I haven't done shoots for quite sometime now so I'm glad Lea and I were able to do this together.
