So what do you guys think? Do I look okay with my black boots on? haha I know it's not under my usual style but the new year comes with new things. I decided to keep everything casual for today but of course punching in some colorful stripes to brighten up my look!

We visited the Basilica of Sto. Nino today just to be thankful for all the blessing we received during the year 2011. And if you guys are wondering.. yes I wore this while walking around downtown to the Church and no I did not get mugged. The trick is to wear less accessories and just be properly covered. I think I did both very well if you ask me! Either that or I had my dad walk beside me the whole time. haha

If you ask me fountains are always a nice touch to any garden space.

            The Basilica of  Sto. Nino has been known to be one of the oldest churches in Cebu. Dated 

             back during the Spanish Era. Of course being the Interior Designer/ History geek that I am

             I was drawn to the Iron grills , geometric arcading and even Spanish inspired paintings.

Did you guys know that the structure of the church is made of out hard stone. So imagine  thousands

of workers carrying and piling these pieces without the hi-tech machinery we have today!
