Style Souk X Zee Magazine

Last week I was invited by the people behind Style Souk Ayala and Zee Magazine for a short  style forum on how Cebu's evident change in style.

The forum was hosted by the very pretty Mia Arcenas together with the very talented designers Jun Escario and Oj Hofer. Who are all part of Cebu's top designers.

 

 

 

They presented to us the evolution of Cebu Style! It's pretty clear to me that there's an evident change based on their timeline. It was fun reminiscing old or "vintage" trends, if you know what I mean. :)

While watching I've come to the realization that Cebu has grown so much both in taste and in style. In my opinion although our city hasn't reached it's Fashion peak yet , not like I've been long enough in the industry to study it, but I believe our community will continue growing. I think that in terms of fashion, trends, design and style we as Cebuanos have our own  idea of it. Clearly there is a great change over the years. Although Cebu has it's share of eccentric and eclectic tastes, like any other city in the world, I do believe we have honed our idea of style by creating it our own. After all that's what makes us unique here at The Queen City! I guess that's what makes it special in every other city... Yes? 

STYLE IS ALWAYS EVOLVING. 

In my opinion it never stops.. it's a beautiful site to watch it grow!
