Hello guys!

I've been very busy these past few days. With my new online job, a bunch of constructions going on and a whole lot of brainstorming with my "team" I've been quite the busy bee. I've realized that the past years have gone by so quickly. Who would have thought we would all be in the working world that fast? 

With our overflowing schedules and the great demands at work I have realized that I see my friends less and less. To solve my problem I met up with the one of my best friends, Kryz, for an hour and a half of bonding. I really thought I wouldn't be able to see her since both of our schedules were tight but we successfully squeezed each other into our hectic agendas for the day. I always forget to take photos whenever we're together since we go straight to catching up and never stop talking until we realize it was time for us to go! :(

So on a relaxed one hour and thirty minute break I chose to wear a simple utilitarian look but in a dressed up version since I had another meeting to follow.

Wore my fave braided silver necklace from Accessorize to add a fun detail to my look.

This cut out top, which I wore a couple of times last year (here and here), has found it's way back into my heart.

 And not to mention this great pleated velvet skirt which added a lot of spunk to my look.

Being in the construction world you're always at not so glamorous site visits so I always wear these booties with me. When I did decide not to change my shoes that day I realized that I was walking around with a dusty pair. Now that's what I call character! haha 

(please don't argue with me I forgot to bring an extra pair lol! )
