Wanderlust

Wanderlust
"A desire for global infusion"

Wanderlust is a term which usually means to wander and explore the world. It's an annotation for a craving to travel and the space being presented creates that kind of emotion. A great mix of worldly collections being showcased cohesively. Pieces around the world found from the past and present while stating a personal interpretation of eclectic beauty. It's simply the proper concoction of the weird and the wonderful.

After 13419769176173 meetings we finally decided  on a name for our space which was "Wanderlust". I guess we decided to infuse our different styles into the whole interior. As you can see there are a lot of  factors and elements found but I think it's safe to say that we were able to give a good balance to the area. :) (Love your own haha)

We originally had more spaces in the plan we created but due to the lack of time and a whole lot of obstacles on the day we decided to go on with what we had instead and not force things that were out of our control.  Can you believe that we finished the this whole space (A.K.A. construction, electrical, styling and etc.) all in 12 hours? 8pm-8am! Now that's what I call  OVERtime. haha

Special thanks to Mikael Design Solutions for making our built in pieces in such a short amount of time. When I say "a short amount of time" I mean less than 24 hours of work on doing our living room ledge, false cabinet and our bed's platform together with the light gray distressed effect on them! They were such a lifesaver. So if you guys have any problems you know who to call. I swear to God they get the job done!

Also a big thank you to Mandaue Foam for lending us a mattress. Let's just say that we're very happy that our client does not have to sleep on a banig. haha

For our major furniture pieces we are very grateful for Murillo Furniture for allowing us to use their award winning designs. Special thanks to Miss Lorelyn also for always being on time with the schedule and being so understanding with our time constraints. :)

For our artsy decors we were glad Finali Furniture & Home Accessories took time out of their busy schedules to consider and accommodate us in using their fine art! And for our dainty home decors a big thank you to Country Classics,  my fave home decor shop here in Cebu, for lending us their elegant pieces.

It was such a great experience to be working with my college buddies again. During our student days I've always been group mates with these people so it was very easy for us to work together since everyone knew each other's strengths and weaknesses. It's always a pleasure working with such creative people. :)

Special thanks to PIID Cebu Chapter for giving us this opportunity!

Hope you guys like what we did! :)

  3. I seriously adore furniture shopping. I think everyone who enters these types of stores wishes they had like a billion dollars to just buy a dream house/penthouse/loft and buy all the furniture they wanted... that's the dream! Oh btw, if you want to know what went down at London's Fashion's Night Out you got to check this out, there's a funny pic of me with Matthew Williamson even though I look odd so don't judge lol-
