I'm a hundred percent Chinese and believe it or not I only have a few red pieces in my closet. I don't know why, but I find red to be a tough color to wear. Although this one was one of the exemptions since it has a pretty crochet detail that I like but generally red seems to be a color that I am afraid of. haha
When I was younger I would automatically assume that red would match black. I guess old habits die hard. :)
Kudos to me for adding a touch of mustard into the look. Yes? Shamelessly trying to find a reason to save my safe look. hehe
Do you have fail-safe color combos too? :)

I tend to wear black and white quite a bit, though I think either of those go with any colour! I love the red crochet top! I like how you've paired it with the yellow clutch as well! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked it !:)
DeleteLove the details on that top, it's so pretty. Love how you added that pop of mustard too, and those booties and super fun!

DeleteMy wife is Chinese and she never wears red either. I don't get it. I love red (and, yes, it always looks great with black). You look stunning in this outfit, and I love the background you chose for the photo shoot. Thanks for all you do!
