Islands Souvenirs DIY I Love Sinulog Shirt | Topman Belt | Old Denim Cut offs 

Sinulog is definitely in the air. Very excited to explore the Cebu streets this Sunday! I've been dressing festival ready on days when I don't have work. haha How crazy is that? That's how hyped up I am. I don't  usually go out but this year will definitely be an exemption.

Islands Souvenirs recently launched their Sinulog campaign with Kryz leading the Cut & Style ad and asked me to become one of their blogger ambassadors together with Eden, Gizelle & Marco. If you are from the Philippines you'd know that Islands Souvenirs has been one of the top local brands that endorses our country through tourism. And if you are specifically from Cebu you'd nod your head and give me a high five when I say that we're pretty proud of our being BISDAK!  Here at the Queen City of the South , Sinulog is definitely one way to show the world how we ,Cebuanos, have fun! Amen? Amen! haha

By having fun you can wear what you want and express yourself through creativity. So, when they told me to design two shirts for them that's to be copied for their Cebu storefronts I just had to say yes! For my first Cut & Style look I kept in mind the idea of comfort dressing without sacrificing an effortless yet chic style.

It's pretty easy!

1.) I decided to take off the sleeves and did a scuba cut that I've been pretty obsessed about lately.

2.) And since this shirt was long I cut it off the bottom to my desired length.

3.) Lastly, I was inspired by the one billion banderitas (streamers? tiny flags? Whatever you like to call it.) that's all over the streets of Cebu. I decided to incorporate them into my look by cutting out triangles at the neckline.

  (tip: you can use a triangular template for a more precise shape)

But if you don't wanna go through all the hassle you can visit your nearest  Islands Souvenirs branch and let the cutters there do the design for you! :)
