We were headed to Ocean Park and I figured I should at least dress the part right? Here's my take on the sporty trend.
This Loco Loco shirt from Chicnova was timely for the crazy rides we took. haha I thought it was very appropriate to wear since I rode most of the roller coasters and other vertically challenged rides that day. Loco Loco = INSANE!
Decided to wear this studded denim high waist shorts form OOTD PH so that I can easily move around in it. Best decision I ever made during our entire trip!
Topped off with this cap I found over at the Mong Kok Bazaar. Boy was it hot walking around that day, this cap was also another great idea!
My shirt reminded me of baseball jerseys somehow. I guess that's my limit on being athletic, just LOOKING sporty is enough. haha! Wishing I could pull off those Isabel Marant sneaks so that I could complete this look with them.
Anyways, since the athletic direction has been in trend in the recent runways and street styles that I've been stalking I thought I'd talk about how to add some sporty spice into your home.
Your walls are a start! By taking inspiration from the scoreboard you can recreate that same pattern on a statement wall. Pretty cool right?
A favorite industrial touch that I've been looking at has been incorporating lockers as storage areas in your space. Adds some attitude into the area without competing with the other elements found in it.
And for a few final touches you can use actual sports memorabilias on walls to keep things interesting. Like rackets and even golf balls! What do you guys think? Willing to give it a try?
