Pueblo Mexicano

Do you guys recall my outfit post a few days ago when I mentioned I had lunch with my family that day? Well, I could not keep this cute little restaurant to myself.

Welcome to Pueblo Mexicano! It's located at BTC (Banilad Town Center).

What really got my attention was the modern take they did with the Mexican themed concept they clearly had. I did my research and Pueblo Mexicano means mexican people. I love that the interiors in this restaurant were straight to the point and had a clear identity.

I really think that Interiors are one of the things that catches your attention when it comes to restaurants. The trick here is how to invite your customers in and try your food. Don't you agree?

Exposed wood reminiscent of  furniture from the Spanish era were used with the tables. I like that they laid it geometrically to create a diamond deisgn rather than going for the normal side by side look.

I am also obsessed with how they reinvented this credenza by repainting it. The color is the perfect shade of pale mint blue which contrasts well with the rich blue wall found on that side.

I especially enjoyed that they were not afraid to go overboard with the wall decors. From the number of crosses displayed in different sizes and the various wall arts that are perfectly framed. Even the painted figurines that were encased went well together.

Well,on to the food! I'm a very picky eater so I don't easily get to like dishes that much but this Roasted Poblano and Corn Soup was heaven! I loved it so much I ordered another solo serving! haha

For my main dish I got to order the Chicken Chipotle which wasn't that bad either. If you have a small appetite like me then this one's a good dish to share.

There you go! Will definitely be back to dry their other dishes.
A good concept backed up with great interiors always completes your food experience.
