A Little Goes A Long Way

Hello Everyone!

I recently got an email from one of my good friends Anne about her friends organizing a drive this Christmas. When I heard it was for the kids at Ormoc who were affected by Typhoon Yolanda I automatically wanted to share it with you guys.

Here's a  short message from the organizers:

Typhoon Yolanda brought destruction to  structures, hunger and despair to people.
Some have lost families, houses, and even hope.

Christmas which is fast approaching seems to be an event that people in the typhoon affected areas won’t be feeling this year. The biggest pain of all is the scary experience of the children the typhoon has brought will be paired with the absence of the spirit of Christmas.

Christmas is the most important event for children. Fashion for Babies is planning to restore the Christmas spirit to children. This is a way to at least  rehabilitate them from the trauma the typhoon brought to them.

We are knocking on your door to ask for help in any way for our Christmas cause for these  children.

We will be accepting mailed donations not later than December 7, 2013 since we will still be wrapping it. Target date of the gift giving activity will be December 14, 2013

For cash donations, you can deposit it not later than December 10, 2013 so that we can budget the food and other expenses to be used during the event.

Donations in kind can be PRELOVED TOYS or CLOTHES, candies or biscuits.

Let’s put a smile back on the kid’s faces.

There you go! Hope you guys can help. A little goes a long way!
