Hello Cebu! 

Great news fellow Cebuanos Aeropostale is finally in town! Home of casual wear. I was lucky enough to visit their store during the opening day last Friday, April 25.  

How the Interiors were designed certainly did not disappoint. The industrial warehouse concept of the store had the perfect balance between wood and metal. From the bricked walls down to the wooden grained floors and crate like platforms, I was pleased to see that even the over all look of the store was considered. Well done design team!

Now on to some serious shopping. I stocked up on a lot of basics and casual pieces while I was there. I try my best to give a bit of variation into my closet.  As a blogger people think that all our pieces has to be all out "trendy" but the key element to a well rounded closet is picking out designs that are the right blend of classic and trends and Aeropostale has just that. I am one lucky girl. :)

Beauty & Butter : Zoya & Ruby Wing Nail Polish

Last week I was invited by Beauty & Butter  (IG: @beautynbutter) to try out their new line of nail polish and boy was I excited. After a crazy day at work lo and behold the perfect pampering session was just what I needed.

I was greeted with the Pop Art interiors of the nail salon! I think they're a nice concept, something different and unique. Similar to their interiors their nail polish is just as interesting. Cebu doesn't have a lot of choices when it comes to nail polish that's why I sometimes bring my own bottle with me whenever I visit a salon. When  I got to drop by Beauty & Butter everything changed. They have a wide selection of colors and finishes perfect for every occasion.

One of their new lines is Ruby Wing's Cupcakes & Champagne. This has to be the most interesting one and yes they smell like it too. Yum! Not only that but they change colors as well! Depending on how much sunlight they get.  Amazing right? 

 Another one is the Zoya Pixie Dust, The healthy color of Fashion. It contains no animal byproducts, is cruelty free and vegan friendly. This is the first collection to arrive in the Philippines. Unlike other glittery nail polish they're easy to remove and have that perfect sheen even with their matte finish.

I picked out Zoya in London since I had to attend a formal event a few days after but I'll certainly be coming back to try out their Ruby Wing line especially now that summer is a month away!

Modern Mama : Parenting done with Style

Welcome to Modern Mama  popularly known as "Moma"! I got to visit their store at Banilad Town Center, Cebu City last week and boy do I envy all the cool things kids these days get. 

I love their beautifully designed interiors. Modern classic furniture pieces with pops of urban detail. My favorite part of the interiors were the dropped lighting! They become the focal point of the whole place. They give the whole space a fresh look. 

Here at Modern mama they have a variety of items both for Kids and for Moms.  From Baby essentials such as food , clothes and even changing items to DIY materials for party ideas and decors for your little one!

They're also the authorized partner of Medela Moms Inc., exclusive Philippine distributors of Medela breastfeeding products. They provide Cebuanos access to accessories, spare parts and servicing of warranty or repairs -- a first in Cebu.

  The best thing about Modern Moma is their an advocate of breastfeeding. Moma has a spcial private breastfeeding area. They're actually the first store here in Cebu who provides that. Perfect for on the go mommies!
