TNC Manila (The Nerve Clothing) Fluted Skirt | Checkered top from Mom | Zalora PH Sandals | Brooklyn Cap from Sister
Hello Friends!
Here's a girly yet spunky new look for all of you. Wore this to a kiddie party I attended last Sunday. Thought it was playful enough and appropriate for the fun afternoon.
Minus the headgear of course, but I secretly wished that I brought it along with me that day.
This skirt just arrived on time! I've seen a lot of street style photos about this famous fluted piece, glad one of my sponsors decided to send me over a really pretty one in a good shade. Special thanks to TNC Manila (The Nerve Clothing) for this ! :)
Opted to finish this look with this checkered top my mom gave me! I think this print is really fun to use. They always turn any blah look to something more pulled together and chic with a pinch of playfulness.
Similar with outfits I think checks does that to spaces. They liven up dull areas with their great color combinations and patterns.
They're such a statement piece especially when you know how to play around with it. Like creating a checkered illusion by placing them on the rise of the steps (on the left). Or, placing one smack down on a white interior (on the right) always catches anyone's attention. haha
Any other smart ideas with checkered? :)
